General Clark has a history with the human side of defense as opposed to the procurement of massive weapons systems. His campaigning also should give him a strong sense of the non-defense priorities of the Country.

He would be a far far better choice for that than for VP. Plus, he is a Hillary supporter, so having him on the cabinet would be good for unity. I don't think it is necessary, or even good, to have one as VP though.
