peace for israel and palestine

I think it would be great if we urged Israel to institute a mandatory requirement of 4 years of Arabic language study for highschool graduation.
Communication is key to peace and the Israelis are so geared toward education that this seems to be a very simple gesture of goodwill that they could make to the whole arab world.
Needless to say it would also enhance communication in every day contacts between Israelis and Palestinians
