I give props to the GOP for putting a woman on the their ticket, but we know that this would never have happened on its own or without the Democratic primaries. Additionally, Palin knows that she is only there to draw in Hillary supporters and give some illusion of change. Pain may be a woman, but that is where the similarities end.

I am a Republican, yet I have fervently thrown my support at Barrack Obama. I have even involved myself on the campaign trail, doing both canvasing and phone banking for my town's Campaign Headquarters. I am not alone in my support for Obama. Many of my Republican friends are disgusted with president Bush and are ashamed of the shadow he has cast over the good name of our party.

The McCain campaign will do anything to take attention away from McCain. We've seen it in their negative ads and now in their choice for VP. Don't let them get away with it. Don't stoop to running a campaign against Palin...she's not running for president. The VP pick has never made a significant impact on a campaign for more than a week or so. Don't let this be any different.

Obama and Biden are going to have a very difficult time attacking Sarah Palin's flaws without causing a media stir. Hillary Clinton should, as soon as possible, give a high profile speech aggressively confronting McCain's pick. It should point out the obvious political intent of the choice, as well as turn the tables by suggesting that the nature of the choice is inherently sexist...

Offering Hillary a position immediately after McCain picked Palin would be pandering, and this campaign has time and again shown itself to be above that. It will seem even more desperate than McCain's pick of Palin, even though we all know that Hillary brings wayyy more to the table than Palin. Obama showed exquisite judgment in picking Biden. He picked the person who would best help him govern.
