Has anyone noticed how goofily detached and irrelevant Bush has become lately?

Offering Hillary a position immediately after McCain picked Palin would be pandering, and this campaign has time and again shown itself to be above that. It will seem even more desperate than McCain's pick of Palin, even though we all know that Hillary brings wayyy more to the table than Palin. Obama showed exquisite judgment in picking Biden. He picked the person who would best help him govern.

Why not begin leaking names of potential Cabinet members, especially those that appeal to Obama's weak demographic and/or Republicans? The worst outcome this could have is if someone whose name is mentioned to come out and prematurely turn down the position.
