The best way to allow people to learn and to make up their own minds about issues and elections is to make sure all have access to C-Span for free, not only on cable, which many can't afford. I'm convinced that if people had seen Theresa Heinz-Kerry's town halls on the environment in the 2004 election, they would have been incredibly impressed with her.

Make transparency a central issue in the campaign
Obama has put forth many ideas related to transparency -- negotiations broadcast on C-SPAN, "Google for government", etc. This is unique among presidential politics and should be made a central dimension of the campaign. He should also take care to link it to being fiscally responsible.
