Swing states

Seeing as how about 30% of voter don't seem to make up their minds until about two weeks before the election, there is still a lot of time. Being a student at University of Missouri, I have come across many students that have yet to make up their minds.
When Howard Dean came to campus I saw many people that were unsure about their vote listen to his empowering speech.

Stress your plan to lower college tuiton

Unless you really are above McCain's 5mil a year ceiling for the middle class, college tuiton is an enormous concern for most families. While some people won't get behind universal healthcare, they will most certainly get behind increasing federal grants instead of loans, and making college more affordable through national service.

There is no underestimating the value of a well educated population. Under education is at the root of nearly all of our problems in this country. Poverty, drugs, fundamentalist religion, overpopulation, teen pregnancy, overwhelming debt, the war in iraq, the election of bush. Let's give our teachers more than enough money so that there's competition to become a teacher.

College students will turn out in droves to see Obama. Coming to the campuses and holding major registration drives will get the students registered and energized to vote in November. This voting block is vital to an Obama success and cannot be ignored. Spend more time on universities in swing states to make sure they vote on election day.

Obama should come to Virginia Tech

Obama needs to come to Virginia Tech, or the surrounding area, to campaign. Southwest Virginia is the most Republican part of our swing state, and provides a very good opportunity for him to get votes. Much of the region follows the university very closely and is closely tied to it as well.
