Ministers should be patting the delegates on the back. Thier children should be tearing up National Honor Society service goals.

McCain's service is noble, patriotic and deserving of praise.
However, that does not give his campaign the right to belittle Barack Obama's serivce to this country as a community organizer, who helped low income families find housing.
This piggy backs off of using patriotism as a bludgeon.
Where's Obama right now? Where's Biden? On CNN's politics page, Obama's name is mentioned twice, once in a headline that talks about Giuliani mocking him, and once about he gives African-American republicans "heartburn". Nothing about Obama on the issues, nothing countering Palin's lies.

The central attack on Sen. Obama is that he not only has not been in politics long enough, but that he has accomplished little while in office. He needs an ad that shows real people from Illinois speaking about how his policies have helped them and helped bring about real change to their communities.

They claim that the American public is suckered-in with his lofty talk about how he'll solve problems that haven't been solved in years - problems like providing healthcare to those who can't afford it.
Read more »One of the ridiculous criticisms of Sen. Obama is that he is elitist or out of touch with the heart of working class America. I think a series of ads detailing Sen. Obama's tough upbringing and showing testimonials from his community work in the South Side of Chicago could show that he is definitely in touch with the struggles of real people and put faces to his experience with them.

They should create organized semi-autonomous groups of issue-related surrogate networks that are made up of experts: A group of physicians that can promote Obama's health care plan, a group of teachers who can promote his education plan, etc.

This machine could easily take on one additional goal: Provide simple guidance to all votes, links to non-partisan groups and websites, resources for change in America.
