John McCain is now trying to blame the deficit on the Democrats that are in Congress. As we know that is a flat out lie. Obama should talk about how Bush/McCain policies have lead to record deficits and has left the debt to nearly 10 trillion dollars.

McCain's Plans Would Add Trillions In New Spending. A DNC Analysis of McCain's new spending proposals show they would total between $7.2 trillion and $8.7 trillion, while the savings he's proposed would total $183 billion, leaving a short-fall of $7 trillion to $8.5 trillion over ten years.
Just to give an idea, gas at 28.1 percent less would take gas down from 3.74 to 2.69 dollars
