It is an essential fact now that the U.S. Government has co-opted its power to the corporate elite. It is the elite (which includes their lobbyists) who control the flow of laws and information disseminated to the general public. It is also obvious that our news sources are controlled by the corporate elites thus rendering our news as mere tabloids and soundbytes.

If there's one good thing about Obama & McCain being the nominees, it's that they are both reasonable people who believe in maintaining high ethics. In the spirit of running a campaign on the issues, the two candidates should meet and hash out what is and is not fair play in the general election. Perhaps they want to make the Keating scandal and Ayers off limits.
