Yesterday evening (10/27) Nobel Peace Laureate Rigoberta Menchu, from Guatemala, endorsed Obama at a speech given at Quinnipiac University. Menchu recieved her Nobel prize for her work in promoting the human and civil rights of indigineous peoples and women. She ran unsuccessfully for president of Guatemala last year; taking 3.5% of the vote with no money to campaign.

They're misinformed. Especially those who are spreading a rumor that "When given the opportunity to do something, on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee overseeing Afghanistan, he did nothing. Zip. Never held a meeting."

Here's the facts in a short enough answer for an elevator ride:

You and your camapign should release a detailed plan on how exactly you will meet with leaders from rogue nations such as Iran and North Korea, what general preparations you will make before these meetings, what goals you will be trying to achieve respective of the countries,the tone used, and the benefits that could be attained from these meetings.

An objective exam covering current events in the world could be created and given to both candidates. The results would then be made available to the public. I think that even though the conventional wisdom is that John McCain knows more about foreign affairs, it's simply not true.
