When Obama's giving his "more of the same" laundry list to argue that McCain will just continue Bush's policies--as he did in the interview with KO tonight--he should remember to say "more of the same kind of nominees to the Supreme Court." McCain has openly proclaimed this, yet for some reason Obama rarely mentions it. Yet, talk about energizing your base!

The DNC speech was so moving, and I thought that when Sen. Obama hit on how these specific people and issues needed to be compromise, it was really powerful. That gays and lesbians deserve better, that no one wants more abortions, that gun control can be a compromise, so on and so forth. difference

Obama's record on gun control is dismal if you happen to be one of the hundreds of thousands of people who carry a firearm in the line of duty and understand that the Supreme Court has stated and reaffirmed that YOU are responsible for protecting yourself, your family and your home from a violent attack. The government does not have that responsibility.
