Upon looking up Hillary Clinton's reaction to Palin, I came across two sites prominently. First was this one:

Hillary Clinton: "No Way, No How, No McCain-Palin" IN FRONT OF CAMERAS
Hillary Clinton is such a powerful figure in today's political environment. Her supporters need to hear the statement she released in her own voice. They need to see her say it in her newest pantsuit. There is no reason that anyone who supported Hillary based on her policies should support Palin-McCain.

Who's The "Harder" Woman - Hillary or Sarah?
For years, Republicans have been portraying Hillary Clinton as a stone cold witch simply because she demonstrates the toughness required to hold high political office. Yet she has compassion for people, supports environmental causes and believes in the preservation of the Union.

Get Hillary to say NO to Palin
Hillary Clinton has said time and again that she will do anything it takes to elect Obama. One thing she can do is head off the obvious pandering by the McCain camp and publicly oppose Palin. This has to be purely an issue based statement. She needs to make it very clear to all her 18 million supporters that the only thing that she and Palin have in common is their gender.

Dinner with the Dems
I always enjoyed a bit of competition, and I know the Obama campaign every so often has these contests where if you donate $25 and submit a personal story you could be sitting down with Biden or Obama or Hillary, etc.

Palin is the "Anti-Hillary"
McCain didn't pick Palin for her qualifications. He chose her to pander to Hillary Clinton supporters and female voters. But this will back-fire because Palin is politically and ideologically nothing like Hillary Clinton. You should emphasize that she is the "anti-Hillary" and that women voters are too smart to fall for such overt pandering.

The original glass ceiling
Show a glass ceiling. Play quotes from Obama's exceptance speech, with each quote- a crack. Finally, a woman's voice, "Enough! I did all the tough work!" The voice is Hillary's. Obama ends it, "Let's give credit where credit is due, otherwise we will just have to clean up glass for 4 more years".

Have Clinton campaign like crazy
McCain has tried to exploit whatever rift there is between Clinton supporters and Obama supporters with his ad and then his pick of Palin. If indeed that tactic has a chance of working, the best way to thwart it is by having Hillary campaign all over the place for Obama. It would even be good if it were hinted she would have an important spot in his administration.

Encourage Hillary to emphasize her concrete differences with Palin
I do not think it would be wise for the Obama Campaign to start a series of negative attacks directed toward Palin. Instead, Obama and his supporters need to encourage other major democratic figures (mainly Hillary) to direct attacks on Palin's lack of experience and judgment.

The Clinton's job in this campaign
The McCain Campaign will be targeting Hillary Clinton voters like crazy. They will shower Michigan and Florida with ads highlighting Sarah Palin as a substitute for Hillary Clinton. A response to this can be an ad campaign starring Hillary Clinton supporting Obama and contrasting herself with Palin. Bill Clinton's role will come in the South.
