The spouses and kids were supposed to be off limits. Also the spouse is not usually used by the campaign for political attacks. Recently Cindy criticized Obama for voting against the same bill John voted against in a harsh emotionally based attack. John also tried to tie Michelle to Mrs. Ayers since they both were hired by the same huge law firm 3 years appart.

Tell how McCain will use poor judgement as President, then add small lines about the S & L scandal he was involved in.

But if only half of this is true then I think the heads of Obamas campaign should get their heads around some of the mentioned issues in the article..I guess there will be quite a few points to hit McCain with.

I don't know why everyone seems to have forgotten about this, but John McCain was one of the "Keating 5" involved in the huge Savings & Loan scandal. Although cleared of wrong-doing (although was most likely due to cronyism and not actually being innocent), McCain was officially criticized by at Senate Ethics Committee for having exercised "poor judgment".
