McCain/Bush Speeches Overlapping
There was a great feature on last night's Daily Show (http://www.hulu.com/watch/33504/the-daily-show-with-jon-stewart-fri-sep-...) around the 7 minute mark that shows Bush and McCain's speeches from the Conventions - over lapped - where they say almost the exact same thing.

Karl Rove has become synonymous in the American mind with scummy, Machiavellian scheming for political gain. And McCain can't stand up to him, even after Rove orchestrated a whisper campaign against him in South Carolina in 2000, when a rumor was spread that McCain had fathered a "black baby."

I would put up a definition of Maverick from the dictionary and the proceed to show clips of McCain saying what Bush has said word for word or nearly word for word. And then end with something like, "Is he a Maverick or a Parrot" or "This is one Maverick who isn't blazing a new trail".

Take the word "Maverick" away from McCain. He has spent years coasting on his image as a maverick. He continues to use the word in his ads and it works for him. Whenever you mention that he has voted with Bush 90% of the time, add the phrase, "that's not a maverick."
