The son of an admiral in the navy is a military elitist. The son and grandson of admirals who have a ship named after both of them is a double whammy military elitist. John III would not have made it into the academy with a poor academic record without his ancestry. He would not have survived the code of conduct without this influence collecting many demerits.

Reinstate the Draft
This country stands united in the effort to fight terrorism. Seemingly. However, in that fight we employ what is, in essence, a mercenary army of the underprivileged. The beauty of the draft is the implicit mandate and social contract it offers, as we commit, as a nation, a citizen army to defend the United States and its allies against all enemies foreign and domestic.
