The Obama campaign should dedicate a week or even longer to join with John Edwards in highlighting poverty in America. This would force press coverage on the issue and speak to the concerns of Democrats. John Edwards is a responsible voice on behalf of the poor and Obama can display his dedication to the issue by making a concerted effort to address it.
