The Nike+ Human Race had over 750,000 runners worldwide running a 10K last weekend.
There are a lot of Nike+ challenges where republicans race democrats and users sign up to log miles in support of different groups. Why not fundraise using miles or a virtual race?

Republicans' Attitude is Insulting and Scary
George W. Bush is supposed to be the president of ALL Americans, not just Republicans. Him talking about the 'angry left' at the GOP convention was completely inappropriate. Our own PRESIDENT is disparaging citizens that don't agree with him in public. That is scary.

I refer to this ad campaign idea as "Change in MY Lifetime". I'm a 20 year old boy from South Carolina, I have donated money to Sen. Obama's campaign (obviously a first for me), am an avid supporter of Obama's success and his platform, and would clearly not be part of this ad's target audience.

One or more speeches on the big issues facing Americans. My list:
1. Preserve the environment for ourselves and our posterity.
2. Ensure adequate supplies of basic resources: water, food, and energy.
3. Promote national security, not just by overcoming enemies, but also by not having them.
4. Advance freedom, equality and justice: for women, for racial minorities, for GLBTs.
Are you guys watching their convention at all?
I have the sound down (cuz if not I'd be yelling at my TV a lot) but the reason I ask is this...I'm looking. I'm scrutinizing EVERY camera shot and you know what I see? White people. Lots and lots of white people. And ONLY white people. Some middle aged, many old, but I have yet to see a brown or black or yellow skinned face of any age in the crowd shots. Now, I'm white and there's nothing wrong with that -- but this is NOT what America looks like!!! Not in 2008!
