what Obama should say if McCain brings up ayres/

or indignancy over John Lewis/obama's crowd has nuts too/can't control the random nut in my crowd/:
"Let me just say John, that if I ever hear any audience member in my rallies threaten you, or your family, I'm all over those guys, all over secret service, making sure they are dealt with. I got your back man; and I would hope that you have mine."

Obama NEEDS to personally respond to Bill Ayer's issue....NOW

Barack Obama needs to either release a TV ad where he directly talks about Bill Ayers or address the issue at a news conference or in a speech. He needs to say that Ayers committed the crimes when Obama was eight, that Ayers had the charges against him dropped in 1974, and that Ayers is now a college professor who is highly respected in the Chicago community.

disrespectful! - they sure are

How about an add showing McCain, Palin and advisers all fire and brimstone saying "disrespectful", "disgusting", "insensitive", "sexist" "a school of pirhana's" etc. (from their accusations of everyone else) for about and 30 seconds... and then the voiceover person says "yep, they sure are" or "more of the same disgusting politics" etc...

Publicly and directly ask John McCain to personally stop low blows

Release an ad or make a speech where you personally appeal to McCain to stop the dirty politics and lies. As one candidate to another, one father to another, tell him that you're disappointed in him and ask him to stop the misleading ads that he is allowing his campaign to run, particularly the kindergarten and lipstick ads.

Today McCain said "from time to time" he has taken on his party

Sept 9th. "Ive taken on my own party from time to time when its necessary." We need a quick response directly quoting him and bringing it back to only 10% of the time, and a 10% chance on change.

Unlike the Republicans, Obama doesn't need to lie to make a point.

We saw last week at the RNC how easily the Republicans can tell blatant untruths about their records and get away with it. But Obama doesn't need to lie about himself, or his opponent, to get his point across. He doesn't need to be sarcastic or spiteful to point out how much worse the country is after 8 years of Republican governance.

Sugar and Spice and their reactionary blog

Hit BACK. Hit HARD. Hit NOW.

Hey Obama camp--you in there? *knock knock* Love you guys, but why is it that I'm watching the cable news networks the morning after Palin's speech and there are NO strong surrogates out there hitting back for you and NO strong response from your camp?! WTH?

Republican Convention Talking Point

The Republican Party has split its time this week between snidely belittling Barack Obama and hiding behind John McCain's war record. Which is not surprising for a party that has nothing to offer the American people but failed policy and broken promises.

Stay clean

Despite Governor Palin's speech at the RNC tonight the campaign and the party need to shrug it off. By hitting back you let them dictate the message and you make it about what they did to provoke your reaction.
