Read more »Ron Paul is an example of a legitimate maverick - not the McCain fake type. Selectively use Ron Paul quotes attacking John McCain's positions. Remeber 5% of republicans are McCain supporters. This would show what a real maverick is like. I admit this might be better for the 527s.

Following on from the revelation that Gov Palin is associated with the Alaska Independence Party -- a popular movement in Alaska, but one unlikely to get much support in, say, the rest of the US -- we have the news that McCain is after Ron Paul's supporters.
Read more »I think a lot of Ron Paul supporters are on the fence about Obama. Let's make sure they vote for Obama by emphasizing similarities (e.g., ending the war) and maybe having Obama agree to take up some of Paul's issues. If he clarifies his position on some things and/or emphasizes his commitment on others, I think he could pick up a lot of support.

Read more »keep pushing the importance of Ron Paul. This takes away from any energy McCain tries to develop. They are clearly divided. So, why not point it out. It's happening throughout the west.A little divide and conquer can work.
