Read more »We are hearing of more and more examples of GOP dirty tricks to disenfranchise voters. In Virginia students are being scrubbed from the voter rolls, in Florida it's blacks, in Michigan the GOP is scrubbing voters who are in foreclosure, and the latest crime is in Ohio where millions of fake absentee ballots have been sent to likely Obama voters with the wrong address for the Voter Registrar.
Read more »The 2008 Democratic National Convention was a beautiful moment for the Obama Campaign. I believe that it highlighted the position of Barack Obama very well, along with having numerous wonderful speeches aimed at unifying the party. The Clintons came through with their speeches, something which does not surprise me but which I was nonetheless slightly worried over.

Shaking a hand and making eye contact gets a vote! The more people he comes in contact with in person, the more votes he'll get! Target the 18-25 crowd and get those who havn't voted before!
Read more »The McCain Campaign will be targeting Hillary Clinton voters like crazy. They will shower Michigan and Florida with ads highlighting Sarah Palin as a substitute for Hillary Clinton. A response to this can be an ad campaign starring Hillary Clinton supporting Obama and contrasting herself with Palin. Bill Clinton's role will come in the South.

The Obama Campaign has proven itself very good at boosting turn-out in friendly urban areas as well as winning over suburban voters, but winning the Rural Vote has proven to be a significant challenge.

Southwest Virginia is the most Republican part of our swing state, and provides a very good opportunity for him to get votes. Much of the region follows the university very closely and is closely tied to it as well.
