Obama should visit southern Ohio, particularly areas such as Chillicothe. Visiting with Gov. Strickland, who is very popular in southern Ohio, could help shore up some of his weaknesses in that important part of the state. President Clinton visited the area multiple times, and President Bush visited in the 2004 campaign.

Obama needs to stand for protecting our country for ILLEGAL Immigrants, but also make it easier for immigrants to legally come to America, especially spouses of those LEGAL immigrants or Citizens in America. Mixed with the military supporting Obama, come to Colorado Springs to thank the troops. Colorado being a swing state this year, this could be a great time to sway the primarily Republican town. As some of the troops hear that their comrades are helping Obama they may change their mind. Perhaps speaking on bringing their families home as well to have dinner together.

I think Obama should respond stronger next time it is brought up that he "refuses" to visit Iraq or meet with Patraeus. It will definitely come up again. Perhaps, "I don't see how visiting the green zone for photo ops, surrounded by hundreds of soldiers and several helicopters makes us safer or would increase my understanding of the situation in Iraq"

Instead of simply going along with McCain's suggestion that Obama follow him like a young pup to Iraq, so McCain can "educate" Obama, turn the tables on McCain -- invite him to come see Afghanistan, where we are losing the war on terror because we took the eye off the ball.
