Read more »On the issue of the economy, Obama has to say it out loud and proud. Yes, it IS about laying the blame. When you vote 90% in favor of Bush economic proposals, you take the blame. Republicans have to take reponsibility for the presnt situation. Democrats have to lay blame.

In TN's last presidential election (2004), there were about 4,500,000 eligible voters (over 18) in the state.
Read more »I'm watching Michael Moore on Larry King Live right now. He's doing the interview at a local bowling alley. He said they're "Bowlers for Obama" and that there are other groups (i.e. Hunters for Obama, etc.).
I think this is an awesome idea. Currently, I'm training for a marathon to benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Why not have our own local groups to bring out voters?

Here's the deal: the USA has a horrible voter turnout each election year. I think it's around 50%.
Read more »Have people volunteer to call/contact/campaign for Obama to their circle of influence. They can have 20 of their friends who they make sure get out and vote and ideally get to vote for Obama. If everyone makes sure that the people they know get out and vote (i.e. hold each other accountable) then we can get out huge numbers.
