As a young woman in Ohio, I feel that democrats are missing an opportunity to highlight their strength concerning social issues with women. Democrats have historically garnered more women voters due to our humanist values concerning social issues. Why haven't we focused on health care for all children?

We need to be discussing WHY women feel that they must seek abortion. Poverty? No family support? Shame within a peer community (school, church, etc.)?

In every word spoken to or about Governor Palin, never use the word "she". This only gives more ammunition for anyone including the press of sexism. Substitute "she" or "her" with "Governor Palin", it make her sound like a typical republican politician.

McCain has tried to exploit whatever rift there is between Clinton supporters and Obama supporters with his ad and then his pick of Palin. If indeed that tactic has a chance of working, the best way to thwart it is by having Hillary campaign all over the place for Obama. It would even be good if it were hinted she would have an important spot in his administration.

Obama can't attack Palin for fear of being seen as beating up on a woman - but Hillary can. Hillary should make it very clear that just because you have ovaries doesn't mean that you are in the best interest of women, and draw a clear distinction between the two of them.
