This speech counter punches against Palin's accusation last night that Obama fails to say the word "victory"
by redefinig victory in a strong, positive way. I had to submit the speech in two parts because of the word-limit on posts.

Read more »We need to see some simple contrasts between Obama's "yes we can" theme, and McCain's "no we can't" theme. We should see some TV ads that paint a clear negative picture of McCain's "no we can't" attitude with a montage of clips of him saying "no."
Read more »McCain's people seem to be touting that Sarah Palin is some kind of energy expert and that she stands up to big oil. This seems just silly considering that her state pulls in big revenues from big oil and that she's for drilling in ANWR. I mean, come on, it was speculated that oil prices would go down if she were chosen as the VP nominee (but Gustav put a momentary stop on that).

Announce a "trip to the moon" vision for energy that by 2020 the USA will be essentially energy-independent thru supporting a combination of tax incentives, government investments, new oil explorations, alternative energy pushes, etc. to the tune of $3 trillion.
