Show an ad with the entire Bush team that's been called in by the McCain campaign, with Karl Rove leading the charge. Highlight the roles each have played, including writing Palin's speech, tutoring Palin on American Civics 101, smears and ads.

While it is important to keep harping on the point that McCain voted with Bush 90% of the time, i think 2 more things should be brought to the forefront. One that is quite well-known, but rarely discussed and one that results from recent developments.

They can highlight this point and continue the theme of "more of the same" by saying that McCain just made his first "presidential" decision, showing what kind of president he will be. He has picked a 20-month governor as his running mate.

first show a snippet of Biden's magnificent speech on the iraq war resolution, the bit where he says there is no plan. then play the clip of palin saying she doesn't know what the vp does. and then say mccain, still no plan, more of the same.

Read more »McCain should be the focus and NOT Bush. People get sick of cheap tactics to connect McCain to Bush. Republicans already dislike McCain enough that Obama shouldn't need to connect him to Bush to win this election. This should be done because it is the honest-Abe way to run.
