Read more »Lower taxes on diesel fuel. Americans deal with cars getting 25-35 mpg and we can do so much better. Europeans are getting 60-70 mpg cars. Encourage car companies to start offering clean diesel vehicles in the United States. It reduces emissions and consumption. It's certainly a better alternative to more drilling and can be done sooner.

In every town hall or speech he gives, Obama has a water bottle with him. Why use a disposable one that will wind up in a landfill when they can easily take a BPA free Nalgene or a Camelback, etc. and keep reusing it.

Read more »In her speech last night Palin stated that although she knows that drilling won't solve all of our problems that isn't a good reason to doing so. It should be pointed out that while it will only be a "drop in the oil pan" in reducing our dependence on foreign oil it will come with significant costs to environmental health.
