The 2008 Democratic National Convention was a beautiful moment for the Obama Campaign. I believe that it highlighted the position of Barack Obama very well, along with having numerous wonderful speeches aimed at unifying the party. The Clintons came through with their speeches, something which does not surprise me but which I was nonetheless slightly worried over.

Listen the problem with this election turned from the change against Bush to the Barack Obama show. Believe me I've been Obama fan since day one. But this is how you win the election. You take the DNC on the road. You take Bill Clinton and you take him to easy die hard blue state in the country. Every time Obama is in the south Bill Clinton should be by his side.

To counter the danger that the media will continue to focus on the old two-person contest (Obama vs. Hillary), Obama should immediately tour & be seen to be supported by Edwards, Richardson, the Kennedys, Carter, Sebelius, Webb, Biden & so on- the leading figures of the Democratic Party.

When you win the nomination, give a stirring, powerful speech with the major Democratic leaders, like Pelosi, Sebelius, Richardson, Edwards, Kennedy, Gore, Biden, Dodd, etc. all standing behind you. Hillary doesn't have to be there. Challenge John McCain directly on continuing the failed policies of Bush.
