Yesterday, CNN said that a source inside McCain's campaign told them that the Republican Senator is giving up on Iowa, New Mexico, and Colorado. Instead, he wants to win Nevada, Ohio, Florida, and Pennsylvania.

After the final debate, do the following 3 big rallies to scare the hell out of the republicans and move storylines, maybe put states in play if polls continue the way they are going:

Make sure Joe Biden uses every opportunity to focus his attacks on John McCain instead of Sarah Palin. By doing this no one can accuse him of being ungracious or condescending to her.

Obama should visit southern Ohio, particularly areas such as Chillicothe. Visiting with Gov. Strickland, who is very popular in southern Ohio, could help shore up some of his weaknesses in that important part of the state. President Clinton visited the area multiple times, and President Bush visited in the 2004 campaign.

Though the Mountain West has typically been a stronghold for Republicans, it has been trending blue as of late. For example, Montana's Governor and both Senators are Democratic. By adding these small tallies to the electoral vote column, it will become less necessary for the campaign to win multiple large states like Ohio and Florida.
