I get the feeling, possibly from the media focusing so heavily on Obama and scrutinizing his every move, that he is out there campaigning on his own - where are the surrogates?

20 Retired Generals and Admirals publicly endorsed Obama at the Democratic Convention. It was hardly mentioned in the national media. They should be campaigning actively on his behalf.

The 2008 Democratic National Convention was a beautiful moment for the Obama Campaign. I believe that it highlighted the position of Barack Obama very well, along with having numerous wonderful speeches aimed at unifying the party. The Clintons came through with their speeches, something which does not surprise me but which I was nonetheless slightly worried over.
