Read more »Surrogates and citizens need to get out in a concerted effort and full force on sunday talk shows, local media events, radio, newspaper editorials, etc. etc. to compare and contrast the records, policies and messages of Obama/Biden and McCain/Palin. Hillary/Bill are only a small part of the equation. Obama and Biden can't possible handle the burden all themselves - nor should they.

Read more »I would like to see a schedule on www.barackobama.com that has a schedule of where his high-profile surrogates are going to be. Casual supporters are much more likely to attend a rally with Bill Clinton or other surrogates if they don't have to dig through a hundred "get out the vote" events in their area to discover that Clinton (or others) will be in their area.
Read more »Our main obstacle in an election against a war hero is to pass the supposed "Commander in Chief Test," and the Obama campaign makes this exponentially more difficult every time we hear that "Barack thinks this" or "Barack will do that." Yes, it's a mouthful, but "Senator Obama" must be his go-to name if he's to be taken seriously on a gut level.

They should create organized semi-autonomous groups of issue-related surrogate networks that are made up of experts: A group of physicians that can promote Obama's health care plan, a group of teachers who can promote his education plan, etc.

Per today's Huffington post article, don't just float potential members of the cabinet, go ahead and say "This is my Shadow Secretary of State, this is my Shadow Sec. of Defense, this is my Shadow AG." All those surrogates then take on the Bush lackeys directly, further linking this campaign as one against McCain running for the Bush third term.
