All politics is local and the changes needed to achieve a secure environment, strong economy, equitable community, and overall sustainability must occur at the local - even personal - level. But the Federal government has an important role to play. Tools for Change are needed to boost the ability of citizens and communities to be more able to achieve a truly sustainable future.

A sustainable America is within our reach, and the Democratic campaign can make this point in the most positive way.
