It's all about the lying

It's obvious by now that John McCain intends to lie his way into the White House. It's understandable -- it's the only way he can possibly win. But what separates McCain campaign lies from your garden variety lie is their sheer brazenness. They lie about everything, even stuff they don't need to lie about. They get called out on their lies, and yet they tell the same lies again and again.

The one Bush-McCain Comparison We Haven't Used

As much as I hate to say this, I don't believe that 'dubya' went into his presidency with malicious intent. Rather, he was far too trusting of individuals who did and who knew how to play to his good 'ol boy side. John McCain has a long history of being far too trusting of similar folks, and this goes all the way back to the Keating Five incident in the late 80's.
