IIt's a Revolution! Don't let that be forgotten!

Again, history plays an important role in the decision of this race. Look, Jefferson took over the top spot in the very first ever transfer of power from one political party to another although founding fathers had warned vehemently to avoid forming political parties.

Embrace our Democratic Values clearly & loudly!

The Republicans can't win on the issues but they can easily win on values and their message, as they have won in the past. Obama needs to focus on values as much as issues in this campaign. What do Dems believe in? What do Dems stand for? What kind of America are we trying to create?

McCain: Lack of morals

With McCain having cheated on his first wife, called his second wife a "f*cking c*nt, and now picked someone who is under an ethics investigation to be his VP, it is perfect way to show that McCain really doesn’t have morals or values in spite of being Pro-Life and homophobic.

keep on the high road

It is integral for Obama supporters to join Obama and Biden on the high road morally and back him on every issue. Every opportunity that we have we must exercise and exhibit the values which led us to support Obama in the first place. Lowering ourselves to the bickering ranks of the Republicans causes damage to our overall goal, which is, Obama in the White House.

The Silent Majority

There is no reason why Obama and McCain are this close in the polls. The silent majority is the core reason. Say what you like but they are a force to be reckoned with. They do not picket. They are not on the message boards. They do not have bumper stickers but they cannot stand abortion or gay rights.

Take back the South and the Reagan Democrats

I feel John McCain's best bet was to choose a VP from the south, considering there are a few long standing red states that did not take to McCain in the primaries. With a conservative 3rd party candidate in the mix, I think states such as Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, and Louisiana could possibly be very close for a blue win.

Reaching out to moderate/conservatives

Here are some ways that Senator Obama might reach out to moderates/conservatives

1) Propose a way to reduce the burden of government regulations.

2) Embrace the principle that hard work and productivity should be rewarded as a core value of the campaign. Develop/identify policies that embrace this principle.

Begin to inject Family into the campaign

One of Obama's strengths that has not been utilized is the fact that he is a young-ish father of two children. This is a part of his personal story that can endear him to voters. The issues of being a parent, wanting to provide the best education for his children, building a better future, etc.
