Read more »We've reached the final stage of this election - the best way to ensure Senator Obama's victory now is to *make sure people vote*. At this point, that means getting as many Obama supporters registered as possible.
Read more »We could appeal to all high school teachers and professors who are Obama supporters and ask them to hand out voter registration cards in their classrooms. The teachers/professors should not make any partisan comments when handing out the cards--just offer it as a convenience to the students. I know a professor who does this every election, and the students are very appreciative.

A campaign urging those apathetic Americans to get involved in their government by registering and making educated votes is in perfect order. The best time to put a spark in an otherwise apathetic interest is to get them at a time when emotions, passion, and focus is at an all time high: Kick-off and forth quarter.
Read more »The 2008 Democratic National Convention was a beautiful moment for the Obama Campaign. I believe that it highlighted the position of Barack Obama very well, along with having numerous wonderful speeches aimed at unifying the party. The Clintons came through with their speeches, something which does not surprise me but which I was nonetheless slightly worried over.
Read more »A concerted effort in swing states to have out-of-state college students change their registrations could make a pivotal difference. Say you're from Illinois and go to college in Ohio. Switch your registration so your vote really counts!
Read more »I know that in GA there is a big push within the Obama campaign for voter registration, and I'm assuming that this is the case most places in America. Walmart's are the PERFECT place to do this-- there is a steady flow of traffic, lots of it is low income and/or low education, and they're coming out frustrated with how much money they just spent.

Read more »It is great that the campaign has shown a serious commitment to voter registration. It is the first time I have seen a campaign that has recognized that one of the reasons democrats lose is that more than half of our potential voters don't show up on election day.
