E-mail a reminder to everybody telling them that they CAN NOT VOTE (at least, not in CA) if they are wearing a campaign logo. Anything like that counts as campaigning within 200 feet of a poll, which is against the law. The McCain camp is counting on people showing up in Obama/Biden shirts, etc. and getting turned away. Don't let this happen! Send out an e-mail!

I believe the entire voting system is just ridiculous. How many election fraud attempts have succeeded and/or been suggested in the past decade. First of all, change the system to required paper trail AND require voters to show a valid (state or national) ID which they can get FOR FREE (one time offer) when they register to vote.

I'm watching Michael Moore on Larry King Live right now. He's doing the interview at a local bowling alley. He said they're "Bowlers for Obama" and that there are other groups (i.e. Hunters for Obama, etc.).
I think this is an awesome idea. Currently, I'm training for a marathon to benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Why not have our own local groups to bring out voters?

Combat "present votes" with Present as a Senator
People don't understand the present votes from the Ill legislature. However, they do understand what it means to be absent from the Senate. Get out there and start highlighting McCain's terrible attendance record. He didn't vote on FISA, Medicare or the GI Bill. Ted Kennedy has brain cancer and he made it to the Senate to vote!

It may be risky in terms of the "buying the vote" criticism but who cares. I say, publicize early and often (billboards by public transportation would reach the most of the needy audience), all of the help Obama volunteers can give voters on election day. From childcare, to rides, to legal representation for employees who's employers refuse to let them leave to vote.

John Kerry conceded the election much more quickly than Al Gore did. If it comes down to be a close race, as it likely will, don't give up right away! The Republicans know how to steal close races, and many poor and minority Obama voters will likely be disenfranchised. Don't let this happen! ALL THE VOTES MUST COUNT!! We know that if all votes are counted, Obama will win.
