In truth Georgian troops who had trained with American forces in July attacked the capital of South Ossetia with artillary at the opening of the Olympics. Get Obama's Generals Out There!
20 Retired Generals and Admirals publicly endorsed Obama at the Democratic Convention. It was hardly mentioned in the national media. They should be campaigning actively on his behalf.

Obama needs to go after McCain in the presidential debates, asking where the money will come from to continue funding the war in Iraq - especially if McCain intends to continue the Bush tax cuts. He needs to stress his own value of fiscal responsibility while exposing McCain's ineptitude on the issue, which McCain himself has said he doesn't understand very well.

We need to change course. Don't attack Palin, attack McCain and Bush. It should always be about tying McCain to Bush. Bush is highly un popular. The new strategy should be to link McCain to Bush as much as possible. Make this a referendum on the War and the Economy as much as it is on Bush.

Bush lowered the bar so far, any criticism of Obama's experience or whether he'll make a strong Commander in Chief is laughable. Questions about Obama's readiness should always be answered in this respect. Obama would never have hesitated to act the way Bush did. Obama would never have gone into Iraq and would have instead focused our military on ferreting out OBL in Afghanistan.
