Getting in touch with blue collar Americans

I think an easy way for Obama to gain the support of blue collar workers would be to recruit Mike Rowe. Over the past few years he has gained the respect of the working class with his show "Dirty Jobs". Having him travel with Obama, in a manner analogous to Chuck Norris with Mike Huckabee, could be a big boost to his campaign

At least a month ahead of Denver, Senator Obama needs to announce that he is taking Senator Clinton as his VP, Gov. Richardson as his Secretary of State, and creating a "Poverty Czar" cabinet level position to be filled by Sen. Edwards. Then together, they spend the month before Denver touring rural, urban, hispanic, and poor America.
